Athletics is an integral part of the Winsor experience. Every season our
student-athletes gain lifelong lessons in the value of competition, perseverance
and the true meaning of teamwork. From the start, girls enjoy a dynamic P.E. curriculum. Beginning
in 7th grade, they relish playing on Wildcat teams. Fourteen different sports are offered, most on
varsity, JV and middle school levels, letting athletes of all ages and
abilities play and grow.
Class of 2014’s Sarah Bell and Ananya Mahalingam-Dhingra are two of only 10 “exceptional student athletes” nationwide to receive the U.S. Squash Scholar Athlete Award for the past four years in a row. The two are featured in the December 2014 Squash Magazine.
Winsor’s varsity field hockey team defeated Portsmouth Abbey, 5-0, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. The Wildcats currently hold a 7-6-0 overall record and boast a 6-2-0 record in the EIL, placing them in a tie for second place in the conference.
On Saturday, October 18, 2014, Winsor Cross Country finished out the regular season with a 10-2 record after a great meet at Cunningham Park against Milton Academy and Thayer Academy.
