Duration: one-year commitment during year leading up to Alumnae Weekend and reunion

Description/Responsibilities: The Reunion Committee members serve with the Class President as class liaisons during a reunion year. The primary focus of this job is to generate enthusiasm for the reunion and to encourage participation in the Annual Fund in recognition of the reunion milestone. Committee members may split responsibilities depending on interests. Some members may choose to work on social plans and others are needed to help with the class gift.
For your class:

Contact classmates and help Winsor communicate with them, particularly in locating lost classmates and encouraging them to update their contact information using Winsor’s online update forms.

Participate in monthly, or more frequently as needed, committee meetings to sort out reunion details.

Participate in a class liaison conference call when offered (usually twice yearly) to share ideas and to stay informed about the school today.

Host or organize class reunion gatherings

Use the online alumnae community, MyWinsor Connection, to post announcements for your class and facilitate discussions on the Class Discussion Board.
For the Annual GivingClass Gift:

Draft (or approve/revise a draft prepared by the Development/Alumnae Office) and personally sign fundraising letters for the year to the class, including:

A fall fundraising letter announcing the reunion and reunion giving effort.

A spring follow-up letter updating fundraising progress and reunion plans.
