Every Winsor parent is a member of the Parents’ Association.
Volunteering through the PA is a great way to meet other parents and to contribute to the school in a significant way. The range and scope of volunteer opportunities are enormous.
PA members volunteer in four major areas:
Welcoming Community
The PA’s mission is “to foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive community for all Winsor families.” Meetings with the school counselor and deans, class coffees and social events provide opportunities to meet other parents and develop closer bonds.
Guest Speakers
The PA also invites prominent speakers who offer insight into the challenges of raising daughters today. Guest speakers have included Dr. Howard Gardner, Dr. Eli H. Newberger, Dr. Sara Lawrence Lightfoot and Dr. Michael Thompson.
