Safe House Program Agreement

2007-2008

The Safe House Program is an agreement signed by the parents of the Winsor, Roxbury Latin, and Belmont Hill Schools.  The agreement states that if their daughter or son hosts a gathering in their home, the parent(s) will be present to chaperone the gathering and will not allow any drugs or alcoholic beverages to be served to minors on the premises.  In addition, the parent(s) will secure any firearms in the house and assure that no students will have access during the gathering.  This agreement is viewed as a means of promoting safety, health, and open communication among Winsor, Roxbury Latin, and Belmont Hill parents.

A combined list of participating families in the Safe House Program and their telephone numbers will be distributed to the families of all three schools.  If you wish to participate in the program and to have your name appear on the list, please return the section below by August 17, 2007 to Lynn Randall, Director of Parent Relations, Pilgrim Road, Boston, MA  02215.

I/We will supervise any teenage gathering held in our home during the 2007-2008 academic year and will not allow student consumption of drugs or alcoholic beverages in our home or on our premises.
I/We further agree that any firearms in our house shall be unloaded and locked securely away from the students and that I/we will assure that no students have access to these firearms at any time during a party or gathering.
