Winsor Community
Winsor knows girls. It’s small enough that every girl is known—by teachers, advisors, counselors, class coordinators and deans. Students also get to know each other, creating strong friendships and bonds with classmates.
Winsor is a tight-knit, caring community, but not just because of the school’s small size (although that helps). It is part of Winsor’s culture.
In addition to being a learning community, Winsor builds time into the schedule each week for all-school assemblies and club time. The school also encourages different grade levels to interact, whether it’s eighth graders giving a mascot to the fifth graders or juniors throwing a banquet for seniors.
Girls and parents say they treasure the sense of community at Winsor. And alumnae tell Winsor they cherish the lasting friendships formed with classmates.
The school encourages respect, personal responsibility and generosity of spirit. The care with which girls and teachers live these values enriches the Winsor experience.
