Winsor has chosen Bowie Gridley Architects (BGA) to guide the school through its master planning process. Known for deftly integrating curricular goals with facility plans, BGA has developed master plans for more than 60 independent schools.

The guiding team for Winsor's master planning is quickly taking shape. A Master Planning Steering Committee has been appointed with the charge of ensuring broad and thoughtful input from the school community. Also, the Board's Facilities Committee, the key decision-making body, has begun the process to select a planning firm.

Master Planning Gets Underway
Winsor has taken a key first step in developing a master plan by selecting Cynthia Westerman, an independent consultant, to help guide the process. Announced by the Board of Trustees in early February, the master planning process will explore how best to provide the physical environment to support Winsor’s mission, programs and students now and in the future.
