On various dates in December and January, Class VI students will be introduced to a variety of semester and year-away options available to them for their junior year. Representatives from four different programs are visiting homeroom meetings and distributing information and application packets to students.
In order to help parents and students consider these options, Class VI parents are invited to this informal meeting to learn more about these programs. Brian Didier, Coordinator of Global Studies at Winsor, will give an overview of the options and parents can then meet with Winsor students who have attended these programs in the past or more recently this fall. There will be Winsor parents, whose daughters have attended these programs, there to help answer questions as well. This will be a time to get specific information about each program and to get your questions answered. Click here for a copy of a brochure that explains some of the rewards and risks of these semester and year away opportunities.
NOTE: Unfortunately, representatives of the Mountain School will not be speaking at the program. If students and parents are interested in hearing more about the Mountain School, their representatives will be at Milton Academy on the evening of January 10.
If you are unable to attend and have further questions, please feel free to contact Brian Didier at firstname.lastname@example.org via phone or email.
Please RSVP to Lynn Randall at email@example.com if you are planning to attend this meeting.
Parking: Please park in the Front Lot and enter at 103 Pilgrim Road.
