You Tested Positive, Now What Happens?
The date of return to school will be determined by the Health Office and will be shared with the appropriate division head and the athletic trainer.
If you test positive for COVID-19, please notify Nurse Sue and begin isolating at home for five days. The five-day isolation starts with the testing date as day zero. You may return to school on day six if you meet all three criteria:
- You are fever free for 24 hours without taking fever-reducing medications.
- If your symptoms have fully resolved.
- If you test negative for COVID-19 via a rapid antigen test.
Tests results will need to be sent to Nurse Sue before returning to school. Upon returning to school, please wear a mask until completion of day 10.
If you do not meet the criteria on day six, please remain home and continue to monitor. If by day 10 you still test positive but are asymptomatic, you may return on day 11.
