The Winsor School's Creative Coding Studio

Winsor School Creative Coding Studio
Dates June 23-26, 2020
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m Location: The Winsor School Innovation Lab

Creative Coding Studio offers girls in grades 7-9 the opportunity to explore the interesting things that you can make computers do for you. They’ll make interesting works of art, off and then on the screen, diving right into full-fledged, real programming. They will gain the coding skills to incorporate sound, video, gaming, data, and beyond. The studio environment will offer an open and collaborative, hands-on, immersive approach where they’ll learn by doing, and do what they find fun, interesting, and rewarding. Alongside, a small team of makers/coders/scientists/educators, with plenty of experience in helping even the computer-challenged become capable coders, will be there for support, insight, and troubleshooting.
Registration is $575. Learn more about this studio and register by clicking this linkFor more information, contact studio directors Nicole Uhre-Balk at nuhre-balk@winsor.edu, or Chris Player at cplayer@winsor.edu.
