Classical Italy: March 13-24, 2020

Not only is this area one of the richest sources of archaeological information about ancient Roman civilization, it also contains many traces of the ancient Greeks who first settled here. We will conclude our trip in Rome, visiting ancient monuments and viewing famous works of art. We will observe the continuous influence of ancient Roman civilization on Roman culture throughout the ages.

The trip will be open to all Upper School students who are enrolled in a Latin class or have completed Latin 3. If space allows, it may be possible for Upper School students who are not taking Latin but who have a particular interest in classical civilization to participate in the trip. Please see Ms. Hatcher about this option. The current estimated cost of this trip is $3,945. The final price will depend on airport taxes and surcharges, currency exchange rates and remaining costs. For more information, please contact Ms. Sally Hatcher ().
