City Councilor Joins Assembly to Talk Civic Engagement

With the Election only days away, Boston City Councilor and Mayorial Candidate Andrea Campbell joined an all-school assembly and shared why she’s so passionate about public service and civic engagement. In a time when we need “greater intentionality and more action” to bring an end to injustice and inequality, she underscored the importance of local government. She offered hope, and inspiration, reminding the students that every individual has the ability to have an impact. “Young people get it,” she said, encouraging them to have courage, to value their stories, to raise their voices, and most importantly, to get involved.
