Alumnae Join First Virtual Alumnae Day

On Saturday, October 24, over 190 alumnae joined Winsor's first Virtual Alumnae Day and took advantage of the opportunity to reconnect and engage in meaningful dialog. In the morning, alumnae went back to school, logging in to join one of three virtual classes. Then two virtual panels invited open discussion and offered valuable perspective on anti-racism, and on women and wealth. Alumnae also heard inspired remarks from the 25th and 50th year reunion speakers and Head of School Sarah Pelmas, and joined a moving celebration of life.

The last several months have been challenging and uncertain times. As individuals, and as an institution, we have had to pivot, embrace change, redefine 'normal', and navigate unchartered territory, all things Winsor has a long history of doing since its founding over a century ago. The work has not always been easy, nor is the road ahead, but as a community, we continue to come together to support one another, and to reflect on where we have been, what we have learned, and what we can do to drive positive change.

We look forward to seeing our alumnae again for our next virtual reunion day in May!
