A Moving Annual Spring Concert

Thursday, April 20—On a sunny spring day Lower School and Upper School instrumentalists and singers took the stage in the David E. and Stacey L. Goel Theater for Winsor’s Annual Spring Concert, which took place during the all-school Assembly.

“We want to congratulate and thank our seniors for sharing with us their passion for music during their high school years. You will be missed! We love you!” shared Head of Performing Arts Felicia Brady-Lopez.

The Theater Design class taught by Performing Arts Faculty Mr. Puigbo and the “awesome!” Winsor facilities team prepared for and ran the show.

Prior to each piece, students introduced themselves and offered tidbits of information about what they were going to perform or sing. Insights ranged from biographical and historical data about the composer to the technique and hard work students put into their performances.

In a bittersweet moment, Senior Small said, “this is our last time performing for you all before graduation!” Their medley sampled several artists, including music from Mama Mia! the musical, which was performed earlier this school year in collaboration with Roxbury Latin.
