Donating appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares held for at least a year and a day) is a tax-advantaged way to make a gift to Winsor. You are entitled to a charitable deduction on the fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift, and there are no capital gains tax on the appreciation. To ensure proper tracking, receipt, and acknowledgment of your stock gift, please contact Winsor via email at giving@winsor.edu, or by phone 617-912-1346, with these details:

Please notify giving@winsor.edu when you've recommended a grant, so we can look out for and acknowledge your generous gift.
