David E. Goel P'23

David Goel is co-founder and managing general partner of Matrix Capital Management. Before forming Matrix in 1999, David was a member and technology research analyst at Tiger Management. Previously, he was an associate at General Atlantic Partners and a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley. He earned his bachelorโ€™s in government from Harvard University and graduated magna cum laude. David is on the board of directors of Adaptive Biotechnologies, nFerence, AI, Qrativ Pharmaceuticals, and Zeno Pharmaceuticals as well as a trustee of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Currently vice-chair of the Winsor Board of Trustees Finance Committee, of which he has been a member since 2015, he is also the assistant treasurer of the Winsor Board of Trustees Executive Committee. He and his wife Stacey have two children, one of whom is a Winsor alumna.
