This central, 500+ seat community classroom and theater allows the whole school to gather in one place, while maintaining the important intimacy of Winsor assemblies. An acoustic shell for choral performances has been hung from the line sets above the stage and lowered as needed. The theater allows for full-tech productions, providing unprecedented leadership opportunities for Winsor students in the realm of lighting, sound, stage management, and directing.
Our new music spaces have been designed for optimal acoustics and limited noise transfer to other studios, with floating floors to minimize vibrations. The wall panels are angled in such a way that they maximize sound and how it travels through the room.
This 1630 square foot room has a maple sprung floor to prevent injury and mirrored wall, serves as a site for numerous student activity group dance practices, workshops and rehearsals.
