Jason Curtis
Director of Technology
B.B.S., Education
Hardin-Simmons University
Jason Curtisโs path to education technology has been shaped by the meaningful relationships and mentorships that guided him as a student. A pivotal experience in college when a professor helped him see the broader possibilities within himself sparked his commitment to creating environments where students feel supported, understood, and empowered. That insight continues to inform his approach as an educator and leader.
A graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, where he earned a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in education, Jason has served as director of technology or chief technology officer at independent schools around the country, including Houston Christian High School in Houston, Texas; Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio; The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas; and Thaden School in Bentonville, Arkansas. Across these roles, he has worked to ensure that technology supports connection, creativity, and learning. He is deeply committed to enhancing, rather than replacing, the human relationships at the heart of education.
Jason was drawn to Winsor by its students and its mission. As a father of daughters, he feels a serious responsibility to support the development of strong, independent young women. โWinsor does an extraordinary job of nurturing studentsโ confidence and curiosity,โ he says. โItโs rare to find a community where everyone is so philosophically aligned.โ
A lover of teamwork and creativity, Jason has always valued the camaraderie of shared pursuits, whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, or in the larger community. He hopes Winsor students leave with โa fierce independence that allows them to stand strong in a world that, at times, will seek to hold them back.โ
