Go for Greatness
The Winsor School has been turning curious, motivated learners into strong, purposeful women in the heart of Boston since 1886.
Why Winsor?
As the only grade 5–12 school for girls in Boston, we are experts in delivering a middle and high school education that builds girls’ competence and confidence across a rigorous curriculum.
About Academics
Cheerleaders for students’ curiosity, our faculty are highly educated and experienced in pushing and nurturing students to maximize their strengths and stretch their intellectual interests.
Meet the faculty
For more than a century, we’ve made a conscious choice to be in the city. So have our families, who come from more than 50 towns and cities throughout the greater Boston area to learn on our high-energy campus in Longwood.
Arrange a visit
Diverse and inclusive, Winsor is just the right size for developing friendships as our students figure out what their passions are. We’re proud to be a supportive community where students feel known and at home.
Learn more about student life
After Winsor, students are ready to conquer any challenge and make their voices heard at their chosen four-year college or university. Our counselors help students ensure that they find the best fit.

Today is Giving Day! Your gift through the Winsor Fund plays a critical role in supporting the areas of greatest need at Winsor, elevating the day-to-day student experience and bridging the gap between tuition and the true cost to educate every student.
Winsor Fund gifts of all sizes are combined together to create a reliable financial foundation for the school; your support helps fund what makes a Winsor education exceptional: traditions like UTL, Death by Chocolate, and the Class IV Shakespeare play, club programming, athletic travel for competitions, student conferences, and much more. Join us in reaching our goal of 474 donors—one for each Winsor student—and make a difference today! Visit the link in our bio to learn more.
